Overview of SHP Marketing and Communications

Our team, sometimes referred to as MarComms, provides a variety of resources surrounding marketing, external communications, internal communications, and branding. We also oversee website content and functionality.

  • Photography Permission: in order to take someone’s photograph and use it for Rutgers-related purposes, permission must be obtained through the Model Release form. Please note that if they are a minor or if there are any HIPPA considerations, there are additional forms/approval required. Please contact Kisha Chubb for more information. 

Please submit your work so SHP can celebrate and track our school’s accomplishments. This includes:
  • media placements
  • work that has been published
  • research that has been accepted for publication

Website Changes: there are four different updates for the website: error reporting, editing content on an existing page, creating a new page, or update to an existing application.

  1. Website Error Reporting: if on a current page of the website, an error is found (broken link, misspelled word, wrong email address, etc), please notify the website team by submitting a request via the link below. Submit your request to the Website Team.
  2. Current page content modification: if on a current page, you would like to modify the content, please notify the website team by submitting a request to the link below. Please note that all changes to content will be reviewed by the team and edited for grammar/punctuation.  Submit your request to the Website Team.
  3. New page created: if you would like to create a new page, submit new page name, contents, and any supplemental materials (photo, link, etc) by submitting a request to the link below. Please note that prior to creation, someone from the MarComms team will reach out to you to review. Content will be reviewed by the team and edited for grammar/punctuation. Submit your request to the Website Team.
  4. Application requests or changes: application changes and requests go through our Information Technology team, not the Marketing team. If you are looking to update a web address that starts with “http://apps.shp…” then you must submit change requests to the Application Team

Please submit events, announcements, highlights, awards, etc. to marcomms@shp.rutgers.edu. Please include dates, important details, and a high-resolution photo (if possible).
