Dr. Young Hwa Michelle Chang, Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences and Dr. Qinyin Qiu, Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences for their project, “Enhancing Rehabilitation Outcomes in Cerebral Palsy through Gamified Multidisciplinary Interventions: Integrating Speech and Upper Extremity Motor Therapy.”
Bridge Research Grant
This is a 1-year award in the amount of $35,000.
Dr. Shristi Rawal, Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Preventive Nutrition Sciences for the project titled, “Leveraging game-based mHealth to limit excessive weight gain and retention among pregnant women with overweight and obesity”.

Dr. Ken Gill, professor in Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions, Dr. Ann Murphy, Assistant Professor in Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions, Dr. Michelle Zechner, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions for the project, “Building Enhanced Treatment through Engagement and Responsiveness to People with Mental Illness (BETTER-MI).”

Dr. Suchismita Ray, associate professor in the Department of Health Informatics for her project, “Mindfulness Oriented Recovery Enhancement as an Adjunct to Buprenorphine Medication in Opioid Use Disorder.”
Dr. Soha Saleh, assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences for her project, “Personalized Neuromodulation to treat motor and cognitive symptoms in aging population.”

This is a 1-year award in the amount of $3,000.
Bhagavathi Ramamurthy, assistant professor and Claire O’Connell, associate professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies and Practice for the project, “A novel integrated simulation exercise to foster an interprofessional approach to patients with renal disease.”
