Financial aid is available for students enrolled as matriculated students in graduate degree programs. The Office of Student Financial Aid provides information about the process to apply for financial aid. The Office can be reached at 973-972-4376. Students who are interested in financial aid should contact this office as early as possible in the admissions process. Do not wait for an admissions decision to start the application process for financial aid.

A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is required as part of the application process and must be submitted online

Each year, the Rutgers Foundation and SHP Scholarship committee meets to award scholarships to qualified applicants who demonstrate academic and professional achievement in their program and fields.   Scholarships are available for both newly entering students and continuing students. You must be accepted as a matriculated student to be eligible for a scholarship. Some scholarships are based on financial need and you must submit the FAFSA.

When applying for SHP scholarships, be sure to read the application directions carefully and follow all directions. Incomplete applications will be disqualified. The deadline for all application materials, including the receipt of transcripts is June 1st.   For specific information about scholarship applications go to:
