Scholarship funds for physical therapy students are limited. All students are encouraged to seek independent funding sources for graduate study. Financial aid in the form of loans and work study assistance is available to qualified students. There are a limited number of scholarships available to School of Health Professions’ students. Some facilities may offer tuition reimbursement for physical therapy students who contract to provide a specified amount of service after graduation. Contact the facilities for further information.
A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed by May 1, 2017 for the 2018-2019 academic year in order for students to be considered for financial aid (https://fafsa.ed.gov/). In addition, the RBHS Financial Aid forms must be completed and submitted by the identified deadlines of the Financial Aid Office. In general, a copy of the student's, spouse's, and/or parent's (for dependent students) federal income tax return are required.
International students must show proof of financial independence to Rutgers School of Health Professions Office of Enrollment Services prior to acceptance into the program. (http://gradstudy.rutgers.edu/information/international-students)
