Masters in Health Professions Education

Certificate in Health Professions Education

  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with an undergraduate GPA of at least a 3.0
  2. Practicing healthcare professional (with current certification, credential, if applicable)
  3. Two letters of recommendation using the SHP IDS Recommender form
  4. Statement of career interest and why the Health Professions Education program meets career goals
  5. Resume/CV
  6. Completed program application and application fee

 

  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with an undergraduate GPA of at least a 3.0
  2. Practicing healthcare professional (with current certification, credential, if applicable)
  3. Completed Certificate application and application fee

Note: Certificate students may apply credits earned to the MS in Health Sciences program under the following conditions:

  • Grades for credits earned must be a “B” or higher
  • Credits earned must be within 5 years of enrolling in the MS in Health Sciences – Health Professions Education Program
  • Previous Certificate credits must relate to the respective track - Health Professions Education
  • A fully completed application to the MS in Health Sciences program must be submitted to the SHP Office of Admissions
  • Certificate students are non-matriculants and therefore, not eligible for Financial Aid.
