B.S. in Health Information Management

Our online health information management program will prepare you for the business side of healthcare. You’ll learn informatics, quality assurance, compliance, medical coding, and management. Upon graduating, you will be eligible to sit for the national credentialing examination to become a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). Credentialed graduates hold positions in data management, finance, compliance, health record management, and other areas.

B.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences

Our Medical Laboratory Science program is a university-based bachelor’s degree program. Our graduates work in hospitals, physician offices, veterinary labs, national and regional testing laboratories, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic industries, health agencies, research and teaching institutions and use their degree as a preparation for advanced degrees in medicine, dentistry or biomedical sciences.

B.S. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation

Our degree program prepares students to aid in the recovery of people living with mental illnesses. The B.S. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation degree is a degree completion program geared towards students with an Associate degree in human services, health professions, or the arts and sciences. Students obtain their general education courses from their Associate degree program and complete their Bachelor degree credits at Rutgers University School of Health Professions.

Physician Assistants are nationally certified medical professionals who practice on health care teams. PAs are state-licensed to provide patient care and can prescribe medications in all 50 states. Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship Certificate

The graduate Dietetic Internship Certificate at the School of Health Professions (SHP) and the Master of Public Health (MPH) program at the Rutgers School of Public Health (SPH) collaborated to create this two-academic year combined program. At the end of the two years the students are eligible to take the Commission on Dietetic Registration, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist examination, as well as obtain a degree in MPH in Public Health Nutrition (PHN).
