Faculty Research and Scholarship Symposium
The 2nd annual Faculty Research and Scholarship Symposium will be on Tuesday, November 12th at the Stanley S. Bergen Building in Newark. The schedule is tentatively set for 9am – 5pm.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided for faculty that attend in-person or you are welcome to bring your own. This year, we would like to organize a lunch as a “collaboration building” initiative – please look for details during registration!
This symposium is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your research, scholarship, and administrative projects, build collaborations, chat with the Dean, and strengthen our community!
This event will combine presentations from the 2023 Dean’s Intramural research and teaching innovation grant recipients and presentations from our faculty focused on their ongoing research, scholarship, and administrative efforts.
All faculty are encouraged to submit an abstract to be considered for an oral presentation (we anticipate 10-15 minutes for each presentation, followed by a brief Q and A) – time will be closely monitored. Topics could include but are not limited to general overview of your research program, presentation of specific project/manuscript, presentation of grant progress, or preliminary investigations/work-in progress.
Everybody is encouraged to submit an abstract about their research and scholarship they would like to share with our SHP community! The abstract form is attached and is due back to Michele Sisco @ mcoral@shp.rutgers.edu by Friday, September 20th.
