About
Professor Geisler has worked in Physician Assistant Education since 2000 when she joined the faculty of the joint Seton Hall/Univ. of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Physician Assistant Program. Prior to that she worked as a clinical PA in the UMDNJ student health services in Newark, NJ. In 2003 she joined the faculty of the Rutgers PA program and was employed there full-time until transitioning to part-time adjunct status in late 2016.
She is a past member of the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Physician Assistant Education (JPAE) and also served as a peer reviewer for that journal. She volunteered for many years as a clinical PA at Parker Family Health Center, which provides free health care for the uninsured in Monmouth County, NJ.
