Dr. Di Prospero earned her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington D.C. where she also served as Chief Resident in ambulatory care. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she practiced as a primary care provider in Warren, NJ.
In 2010, Dr. Di Prospero became an instructor for physical diagnosis at the Rutgers Physician Assistant Program and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In 2016, she became the PA Program Medical Director. In collaboration with other PA faculty, Dr. Di Prospero coordinates the Healthcare Outreach Practice Experience (HOPE) through which faculty and students volunteer at a local community clinic. In addition, she is involved in curriculum development in both the didactic and clinical phases of the program.
