As part of our strategic plan, SHP is piloting a professional development series for staff focused on career planning and advancement. Building a career in higher education as a staff member is challenging—pathways are not always clear, opportunities can be difficult to navigate, and career development often has to happen on top of already full workloads. This three-session series is designed to create protected time to step back, take stock of skills and interests, explore career options within and beyond Rutgers, and better understand the resources available to support next steps.
