Lisa Palladino Kim, Ed.D.

Dr. Lisa Palladino Kim is an Assistant Professor and Director of Capstone in the Rutgers School of Health Professions Master of Science in Clinical Research Management (CRM) program. An award-winning educator and clinical research leader, she is dedicated to preparing the next generation of clinical research professionals through innovative teaching, experiential learning, and academic-industry partnerships.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning the pharmaceutical industry and higher education, Dr. Palladino Kim specializes in clinical operations, patient engagement, data management, leadership, and project management. As Director of Capstone, she has established more than 150 experiential learning partnerships that connect students with industry experiences.

Dr. Palladino Kim is the recipient of the 2026 George F. Heinrich, MD Excellence in Teaching Award and the 2025 Rutgers Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching by a Lecturer. She is the founder of the Rutgers Clinical Research Management (CRM) Network, a published author, and a scholar whose work focuses on leadership, workforce development, team dynamics, and the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical research and higher education. She has developed educational content for the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), contributed to Rutgers initiatives advancing educational innovation, faculty development, global health, and workforce development, and served on the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center (MRCT) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Health Literacy Workgroup Joint Task Force for Clinical Trial Competency, where she co-led the Clinical Project Management Competency Workgroup.

Her vision is to advance the future of clinical research by strengthening the workforce through innovative education, academic-industry partnerships, leadership development, and the thoughtful integration of emerging technologies.
