About the Role
Join New York Occupational Therapy across any of the five NYC boroughs! We tailor school placements to fit your schedule and minimize your commute. We welcome experienced school OTs, clinicians transitioning from other settings, and new graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Care: Provide individual and group therapy in classroom or dedicated therapy settings.
- IEP & Compliance: Write progress notes, set functional goals, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain timely documentation per NYS/NYC DOE guidelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and support teams to implement adaptive strategies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active NYS OT License (or active application in process).
- Education: Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience: Open to all clinical backgrounds; pediatric or school-based experience is a plus.
