Purpose

This policy clarifies SHP registration procedures.

Accountability

The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs is responsible for this policy. The SHP Registrar implements this policy.

Policy

Students register at SHP upon entering a program. Thereafter registration is based on the student’s Requirements for Graduation form, which is signed by the student upon entry into the School and modified by advisement and documented with the Office of Enrollment Management.

Traditional registering students (Self Registering Students) should register on-line. The procedures for on-line registration are outlined on the SHP website as well as in the Student Handbook. Students not registering online may be assessed a registration fee.

Block-Registered students are students that are in a lock step schedule and are registered by Enrollment Management. Students should contact Enrollment Management regarding the specific registration method of the specific program.

Students enrolled in joint programs should refer to the Program Director for registration guidelines.

Continuing and non-matriculated students registering after the regular registration period may be charged a late registration fee per the registration dates listed on the academic calendar.
