Purpose

This policy defines the role of the ombudsperson.

Accountability

The Dean shall ensure compliance with and implement this policy, with consultation provided by the Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity and the Office of Legal Management.

Policy

The ombudsperson serves as a resource for students and to guide and assist students and the School in the evaluation of options for resolving problems. Additionally, the ombudsperson shall maintain confidentiality to the extent permitted by law.
