Purpose

This policy describes how the Faculty/Student Honor Code will be disseminated.

Accountability

The Dean, Enrollment Services, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Assitant Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Program Directors, and faculty are responsible for implementing this policy.

Policy

  1. As a condition of initial enrollment in a Program or course, all students must be provided a copy of the Faculty/Student Honor Code and they must sign that they have read and will abide by the Code.
  2. SHP Orientation for new matriculating students and new faculty will include a review of the Faculty/Student Honor Code.
  3. All new matriculated and non-matriculated students are required to participate in training in Academic Integrity.
  4. All SHP course syllabi will include a statement on Academic Integrity and requirement to adhere to the Faculty/Student Honor Code.
