Purpose
This policy ensures that all IRB Applications are submitted to the Institutional Review Board for review and approval before human subjects research activities may begin.
Accountability
Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Research and the Office of Research, it is the responsibility of individual students, staff and faculty members to follow this policy.
Policy
Investigator’s responsibilities for human subject research are delineated by the University. All personnel involved in human subject’s research must complete the required University trainings that can be found on the University’s Regulatory Affairs website.
SHP faculty, staff, and students utilize the RU Institutional Review Board. Faculty, staff, and students are required to adhere to the following University Policies: University’s Policy for HS Protections and IRB.
