About
Erich Vidal graduated with honors from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1995. Mr. Vidal continued his academic career with graduate studies in Biology at Seton Hall University and subsequently received his Master of Science-Physician Assistant from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 2001. He recently earned his Doctorate of Health Sciences with a concentration in Education in 2021.
Mr. Vidal worked clinically in a busy family practice/urgent care/occupational medicine center before joining the faculty of the then UMDNJ PA Program in 2003. He continued to practice part-time at a family practice in Clinton and volunteered at the St. John’s Health Center, in New Brunswick, NJ, which offered medical services to the poor, uninsured and disenfranchised.
Currently, he serves as a volunteer faculty preceptor for the Program’s HOPE Clinic in Plainfield, NJ which offers free medical services to the local community. His current research interests include innovative teaching/learning methodologies and gun violence prevention.
