Department of Clinical and Preventive Nutrition Sciences

Our clinical and preventive nutrition sciences programs offer exceptional education and research experiences for students that prepares them for careers as dietetic practitioners at all levels. Courses are offered in-person or online, supplemented with virtual live classes, or a combination of both.

Department of Health Informatics

SHP’s Department of Health Informatics offers a complete career ladder in the fields of health data analytics, health information management, and clinical research management. Programs are available as completely online, completely on-campus, or a combination of both.

Department of Interdisciplinary Studies

Our online Interdisciplinary Studies undergraduate and graduate programs are designed for health professionals who want to build on their skills and advance in their field.

Department of Physician Assistant Studies and Practice

Our nationally ranked Physician Assistant program builds a strong foundation in the medical sciences and offers tremendous opportunities for a wide range of clinical rotations in medical and surgical specialties.

Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling

We are leaders in psychiatric rehabilitation education, having pioneered some of the first degree-granting psych rehab programs in the nation. Our faculty also authored the first comprehensive introductory textbook in the field.

Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences

The Rutgers Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences currently houses our nationally ranked, entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy program and the developing Occupational Therapy Doctorate and Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology.
