Rutgers University School of Health Professions is opening a pro bono Speech-Language Pathology Clinic serving the Newark community. The clinic will serve children and adults from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. It will offer assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Superior Training
Trained graduate-student clinicians provide targeted services under the supervision of Clinical Educators, who are ASHA- certified, licensed speech-language pathologists.

Preparación superior
Estudiantes entrenados en el programa de Maestría en Ciencias de Patología del Habla y el Lenguaje administrarán los servicios bajo la supervisión de patólogos del habla y del lenguaje certificados y con licencia.

The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology (residential) at Rutgers University is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700. Candidacy is a “preaccreditation” status with the CAA, awarded to developing or emerging programs for a maximum period of 5 years.
