Faculty Position: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor

Department: Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences

Responsibilities:
The selected individual will serve as a member of the faculty. Responsibilities include teaching,
research and scholarship, service, and other duties as assigned by the Program Director
and/or Chair.

Qualifications:
The Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences is searching for a candidate for the
position of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor. The department is searching for a candidate
who has clinical and teaching experience in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy, an academic
doctorate (PhD, ScD, EdD), and an emerging or established research agenda with the capacity to
engage in funded clinical or translational research. Preference will be given to individuals who have
completed post-doctoral studies with a record of scholarly publications. Candidates should be
licensed or license-eligible to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

Faculty Position: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor

Department: Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions

Responsibilities:
Teach masters and doctoral level counseling courses related to mental health counseling and
rehabilitation counseling on-campus and online. Develop online courses. Pursue research agenda.
Assist in program accreditation preparation. Advise graduate students. Participate in professional
association and community service activities.

Qualifications:
Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, preferably from a CACREP accredited program,
or have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a
minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013. Will consider recent graduate. Agency work
experience in a mental health setting highly desirable. Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC)
or immediate eligibility (please review CRC eligibility requirements at

and indicate your
status in your cover letter).  Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) and Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC) eligibility in New Jersey is preferred. Interest and expertise in

Faculty Position: Instructor/Assistant Professor

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but not limited to: designing and delivery of health care management

courses for the MS in Health Care Management Program (MSHM); advising students;
assisting with recruitment and marketing of the program; participating in course and curriculum
review/revision; active participation and fulfillment of progressive milestones in scholarship,
research and service initiatives for the program, department, School and University;
participating in department meetings and serving on departmental committees as needed;
serving on SHP School-wide committees; perform other duties commensurate with the
functions of full-time SHP faculty as assigned by the program director.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate should have a doctoral degree; a minimum of 2 years experience
designing and teaching graduate level health care management courses in at least two of
the following content areas: management and leadership, health economics, quality management,
strategic planning, health care finance, current issues, legal and ethics, scientific writing or
another core content category. Evidence of related scholarship and/or research, on-line teaching
experience and strong administrative and communication skills are preferred.

The Rutgers SHP seeks a dynamic leader to facilitate research at the school. The
successful applicant should hold a doctoral degree with experience and knowledge in
translational, applied, or clinical research, a strong track record of extramural funding, a
history of working successfully with interdisciplinary teams, and a demonstrated ability to
foster the research career of others.

The Associate Dean for Research provides leadership direction for growth of the school’s
research programs and is expected to maintain an active, externally funded research program
as a Principal Investigator. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean of SHP and will be part
of the leadership team.

Position: Excutive Director for Administration

Department:SHP - Dean's Office

Responsibilities:

This position works closely with the Dean and Senior Management Team of the Rutgers SHP
to oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the School. Responsibilities of the position
include, but are not limited to: coordinating the development, implementation and ongoing
assessment of the School's strategic plan; overseeing the School's marketing and communications
activities; overseeing compliance programs; development and ongoing refinement of administrative
policies and procedures; overseeing the development and operations of clinical practice programs;
development and oversight of all school wide reports; oversight of the Office of Faculty Affairs and
Personnel Administration; oversight of the Office of Facilities Planning and Management;
oversight of the Office of Instructional and Informational Technology; oversight of Strategic
Initiatives and Planning; serve as school liaison to central administration offices at RBHS and
Rutgers University.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of
experience in operations administration, including at least three (3) years in management capacity,
preferably at an academic health center. Must have the ability to work in and lead teams of
diverse individuals. Ability to collaborate and lead both faculty and staff teams to achieve school
goals. Strong communication skills and a strong administrative background in an academic
institution are required, preferably in a health professions school. Doctoral level degree preferred,
but Master’s degree with strong administrative and operations experience will be considered.
