Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Psychology

 




 

Mission

The mission of Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Psychology Program is to prepare entry-level psychiatric rehabilitation practitioners for professional roles in psychiatric rehabilitation and community mental health settings.  The program strives to impart the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to provide state-of-the-art services to persons living with serious mental illnesses. There is an emphasis on person centered practices that promote wellness, recovery and community integration.   Students are also prepared to pursue a variety of graduate degree options including the School of Health Related Profession’s graduate degree programs in psychiatric rehabilitation and rehabilitation counseling and graduate degrees in psychology and related disciplines.
