The Career Service Series is made up of a total of 16 areas; 11 basic courses complimented by 5 advanced course topics to increase the skills of staff providing employment and education support to people with lived experience of mental illness. These courses are geared toward Supported Employment and Supported Education specialists, although anyone interested in assisting with career/vocational planning and development can attend.  We have designed this series to serve the needs of both new staff and existing staff.  It will also serve as a way to help programs cross train staff in both program modalities.  This will be especially helpful in counties that are not currently served by one of the four LEARN of NJ branches but have existing Supported Employment programs.
