The Vascular Sonography Program provides clinical experiences with varied populations in a wide variety of health care settings by utilizing a large number of health care facilities throughout NJ and NY. Students complete clinical rotations in a variety of facilities. These facilities include:

The Vascular Sonography Program is located in Scotch Plains, NJ, which is accessible from the Garden State Parkway, Routes 22 and 78. Clinical affiliations are located throughout New Jersey and New York. Students rotate to a minimum of 4 clinical facilities. Although a student’s home address is considered, placement at clinical facilities is based on a number of factors. Students should be prepared to travel.
The proximity of Rutgers-SHP to New York City extends opportunities for varied entertainment and recreational activities for students.
