The American Physical Therapy Association

(APTA) is a national professional organization representing more than 72,000 members. Its goal is to foster advancements in physical therapy, research, and education

 

The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)

This is the only accreditation agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Accreditation to accredit entry-level physical therapist programs.
