Online Aging Health Sciences Program

As the aging population increases, so too does the need for well-trained health professionalsservice providers, planners and policy workers who understand the unique issues of the aging. That's why we've created programs specifically to meet the need for more health care professionals in this field.

In our program, you'll gain a strong foundation in evidence-based research, complete specialized courses in aging and health, and take electives geared to your area of interest such as nutrition, mental health or leadership.

Graduates in this rewarding field can make an impact working directly with older adults, influencing elder health care policy and challenging stereotypes related to the aging population.

We offer 3 options:

  • Graduate certificate (15 credits)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Aging Track (associate's degree or 2 years at Rutgers-Newark College of Arts and Sciences required)
  • Master's Degree in Health Sciences, Aging track (33 Credits)

We are accepting applications through July 15.
